Trincomalee Elephant Safari: Minneriya / Kaudulla Tour

Begin your wildlife adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Trincomalee and travel inland toward one of Sri Lanka’s famous elephant-viewing national parks.

Depending on seasonal wildlife movement and park conditions, your safari will take place in either Minneriya National Park or Kaudulla National Park. Both parks are renowned for their large elephant populations and beautiful dry-zone landscapes.

Upon arrival, board a 4x4 safari jeep with an experienced safari driver and enter the selected national park. Travel through forests, grasslands, wetlands, and open plains while searching for wild elephants gathering around water sources and feeding areas.

In addition to elephants, you may encounter spotted deer, wild buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, wild boar, and a wide variety of bird species. Your safari driver will help identify wildlife and provide information about the park and its natural environment.

After the safari, relax during the return journey to Trincomalee and enjoy a comfortable drop-off at your accommodation.
