Overview
Day 1: Arrival – Colombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where your guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Colombo. Relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Colombo → Sigiriya
After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple), the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka, filled with ancient murals and statues. Continue to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, rising dramatically from the plains. Climb to the summit to explore ancient ruins and enjoy breathtaking views. Overnight stay at a 4-star hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya → Kandy
After breakfast, journey to Kandy. Visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, home to one of Buddhism’s most important relics. Later, explore the beautiful Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, known for its diverse collection of plants and orchids. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at a 4-star hotel in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy → Ella
After breakfast, travel through the scenic hill country to Ella. Visit tea plantations and learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous Ceylon tea while enjoying breathtaking views of misty hills and lush greenery. Spend the evening relaxing in Ella. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5: Ella → Udawalawe → Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Udawalawe National Park for a wildlife safari. Spot elephants and other animals in their natural habitat, creating unforgettable memories. After the safari, continue your journey for drop-off, concluding your 5-day Sri Lankan adventure.

Know Before You Go
- When visiting Buddhist and Hindu temples, shoes and hats must be removed, and shoulders and knees should be covered.
- This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, including climbing approximately 1,250 steps at Sigiriya and around 250 steps at Dambulla Cave Temple.
- Transfer times are approximate and may vary depending on traffic and time of day.
- SAARC travelers must carry their passport on the day of travel.
- The tour is subject to weather conditions. In case of cancellation due to poor weather, an alternative date will be offered.
- Entry fees are not included:
- Sigiriya Rock Fortress: USD 35 (payable in USD or LKR)
- Dambulla Cave Temple: LKR 3000 (payable in local currency only)
- Additional hotel supplements may apply for December 24th and 31st (peak season), payable directly at the hotel.
