Sri Lanka 11 Day Cultural Hills and Beach Journey

Day one begins with arrival in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo. You explore the Muthurajawela wetlands and enjoy a peaceful boat ride along the Dutch canal surrounded by coconut palms.

On day two, travel toward Dambulla with visits to ancient royal cities Dambadeniya and Panduwasnuwara before checking in for an overnight stay.

Day three is dedicated to Polonnaruwa ancient city with its temples, stupas, and palace ruins followed by a traditional cultural dance performance in Habarana.

Day four continues to Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress and Dambulla Cave Temple before reaching Kandy, with a village experience including traditional transport rides and local cuisine tasting.

In Kandy on day five, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, scenic viewpoints, and Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden for a full cultural and nature experience.

Day six takes you into the hill country with tea plantations, Ramboda waterfall, and a scenic train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella.

Day seven in Ella includes Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Falls, Ravana Cave, and a hike to Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic hill views.

Day eight moves toward the southern wildlife region with a safari experience at Udawalawe National Park before reaching Mirissa beach.

Day nine includes a whale watching excursion from Mirissa followed by a visit to Galle Fort and Jungle Beach in the southern coast.

Day ten features a Madu River boat safari with mangrove islands and cinnamon farming experience, plus a visit to a traditional mask museum in Ambalangoda before reaching Ahungalla.

Day eleven ends with a visit to Lunuganga estate, the historic garden home of Geoffrey Bawa, before drop off at Beruwala.
