Kitulgala: Rafting, Adrenaline-Abseiling, Lunch & Pickup

Your adventure begins at 8:30 am with a warm welcome from your adventure instructors in Kitulgala. After a short briefing and safety introduction, you will be transferred by tuk tuk from your hotel within Kitulgala to the starting point.

The first activity is white water rafting on the scenic Kelani River. You will navigate around five major rapids and four minor rapids over a distance of approximately five kilometers. This thrilling ride offers a mix of excitement and natural beauty as you move through lush rainforest surroundings.

Next, you will begin a short trek of around 1.5 kilometers through tropical forest leading to the Kataran Oya natural rock pools and waterfalls. Here you will discover seven beautiful natural pools where you can swim in crystal clear water, enjoy natural water slides, and experience safe cliff jumps into refreshing pools.

After a short refreshment break, the adventure continues with waterfall abseiling. You will descend alongside a powerful waterfall using safety ropes under the supervision of trained instructors. The experience delivers an intense adrenaline rush as you are surrounded by rushing water and rainforest scenery.

At around 2:30 pm, you will enjoy a well deserved buffet lunch at a riverside restaurant. After lunch, you will relax before being dropped back to your hotel in Kitulgala by tuk tuk around 4:00 pm.
