Galle Turtle Beach, Mangrove River Safari - ALL Inclusive

This all-inclusive private day trip starts from Hikkaduwa and takes you on a scenic journey along Sri Lanka’s beautiful southern coastline, combining nature, wildlife, culture, and history into one unforgettable experience.

Your day begins with a drive to Bentota, where you will enjoy a relaxing one-hour mangrove river boat safari along the Bentota River. During the safari, you will travel through mangrove forests and small river islands while spotting wildlife such as crocodiles, water monitors, monkeys, and many species of birds. You may also have the opportunity to feed fish and observe local village life along the river.

After the river safari, you will visit the turtle conservation project in Kosgoda to learn about sea turtle protection and conservation efforts in Sri Lanka.

The tour then continues to Turtle Beach in Galle (Vijaya Beach), where you can see sea turtles swimming close to the shore in their natural habitat. You can relax on the beach, enjoy the ocean, and have lunch at a nearby beach restaurant.

Next, you will travel to Weligama to see the famous traditional stilt fishermen, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic coastal traditions. Afterward, you will visit the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can walk along the fort walls, visit the lighthouse, explore cafes, museums, and boutique shops while enjoying beautiful ocean views.

After completing the tour, you will return comfortably to Hikkaduwa in the evening.
