11 Day Sri Lanka Cultural Wildlife Journey

Day 1 Arrival in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo. Enjoy a relaxed evening by the beach, explore the fishing village atmosphere and local seafood culture.

Day 2 Travel from Negombo to Dambulla with a visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Continue to Dambulla Cave Temple and enjoy an authentic village experience with traditional activities and rural life interactions.

Day 3 Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress and climb the ancient UNESCO heritage site. Continue to Kandy for cultural sightseeing including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake and a traditional cultural dance show in the evening.

Day 4 Explore Peradeniya Botanical Garden, visit a gem museum and return to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Kandy with leisure time.

Day 5 Travel to Nuwara Eliya through scenic hills. Visit tea plantations, Ramboda Falls and Gregory Lake while enjoying the cool climate of Sri Lanka’s hill country.

Day 6 Experience one of the world’s most beautiful train journeys from Nanu Oya to Ella. Arrive in Ella and relax in the mountain scenery.

Day 7 Full day exploration in Ella including Nine Arches Bridge, Ravana Falls and Little Adam’s Peak with hiking and nature views.

Day 8 Travel to Yala National Park for an exciting wildlife safari experience featuring elephants, leopards and exotic bird species.

Day 9 Continue to Galle. Explore Galle Fort, colonial architecture, churches and charming seaside streets.

Day 10 Travel to Colombo via Madu River boat ride, cinnamon island visit and turtle conservation center. End the day with a city tour of Colombo.

Day 11 Transfer from Colombo to airport for departure.
